2014 Infiniti G37 spy shots in Heavy Camo, Detroit Auto Show

According to Cars UK, the 2013 Detroit Auto Show should be the home for the Infiniti G37’s first official unwrapping. AutoBlog.com has released some spy photos of the brand new Infitini G37, which boasts some beautifully updates to the car, from some very heavily camouflaged pictures (source: AutoBlog.com), the new Infiniti should include some of the following changes:

• New Engine Choices & Increased Fuel Economy

The current car is offered with almost only 1 drive train: a blazing fast 330 HP v6 with 3.7 liters ready to rocket you to 60 miles an hour in just 5 seconds flat. The problem with this slick engine, however, is the fact that most owners will see around 11-16 MPG in normal driving conditions which is far under that of rivals such as the all new BMW 3 series, the 2012 Mercedes Benz c250 sedan and the Audi A4, to name a few.

• Brand new exterior design

The 2013 Infinti G37 should have a vastly updated exterior, due for over 6 years. The current design came out in late 2006, and that car has remained basically unchanged since then, with a few mild refresh touches added in the 2010 car model. The car should be more rounded like the beautiful Emerg-E car that we saw at previous auto shows, with some more muscular lines and likely some new lights, as can be seen clearly in the spy shots.

• Updated Interior
The interior in the current G37 is plush but dated, and the car sales have shown it. The new G37 should feature vastly improved technology and interior options, and should be one of the best and high tech options out there after the new iteration of the volume model for Infiniti.

With the Auto Show set to open in January, the unveiling of the brand new car should be just around the corner. Typically with new car models, there unveiling can come earlier than expected, so keep your eyes open– in fact, recent trends are for auto makers to release “teaser” pictures to help create hype around their models, including Nissan who do so with the brand new 2013 Nissan Altima.
