Posted by on November 8, 2011 in New Cars - 5 Comments

2012 is an extremely important year for the new car industry due to the increasing demands and ever growing popularity of the fuel efficient vehicles, especially that of the small SUV and small sedan class. Due to the growing demands, the brand new car list for 2012 is occupied by mostly more fuel efficient versions of already popular cars, such as the all new BMW 3 series that is set to be sold in February of 2012, or the all new Chevorlet Volt that was just recently released to the public. There have also been some European models of larger SUV’s such as the Audi Q3, which is right now not available in the United States. There is no word from Audi as to when and if the Q3 will ever make it to the us as a brand new car for 2012.

The brand new cars for 2012

Chevorlet Volt

The Volt was named by Car and Driver as one of the most important cars to come out for Chevy in many years, and is one of the most innovative and helpful cars to our economy in a long time. The fuel economy, the footprint and the driver satisfaction were all enough to drive the government to offer a $7,500 in a grant for anyone who purchased the vehicle which is part of the programs to reduce our dependency on fossil fuels by the government. The volt is known for the excellent driving position, the comfortable ride, and the ability to travel without any fuel at all, should you not deplete your cars charge. For people who will commute to work every day to a close location, this can mean never visiting the gas station anymore.

2012 BMW 3 Series

The all new 2012 brand new 3 series is upgraded in many ways, most notably the fuel economy, and the absence of a v6 as an engine option. The car looks similar to the 5 and 7 series, with the new styling that has influenced BMW rolling right over to the brands best selling car. The BMW will offer 3 different model lines: the luxury line, the sport line and the modern line. These cars all offer different amenities and can make the experience of the car entirely different based on the owner and the specifications that they have chosen on their all new for 2012 BMW 3 series. The engine is now a r cylinder turbo making an est. 240 HP, similar to the current 2011 model. The fuel economy however, will be much better and there is even talk of offering a diesel in the US.

2012 Toyota Camry

The brand new car for 2012 Toyota Camry has been completed revamped, from the weight of the car down to the interior materials and details. The Camry features a brand new, leather stiched dashboard that looks very high class, and the low quality materials that we have all grown to know so well have been ditched, for the most part. The camry now offers keyless entry and push start engine on most of the models, in addition to an upgraded GPS, center console, and even a blid spot monitoring system generall found in cars that are much more pricy that Americas favorite mid sized vehicle. The Camry will also be quicker — the engine is the same, but because the car shed almost 150 pounds off of the previous model, the v6 will now hit 60 mph in just 5.8 seconds, that is .4 seconds faster than the previous generation 6.2 seconds.

There will also be a brand new Toyota Camry hybrid for 2012, featuring the brand new interior, better fuel mileage, and a surprisingly powerful engine. The car is also very affordable and includes best in class acceleration, second to only cars that are without the important fuel saving hybrid options.

There are many more brand new cars for 2012, stay tuned for our next list of cars and pictures.
