In the wake of the big automotive crash of 2008, CEO compensation has reached an all time high. CEO’s are making more money than they ever raise the question if profitability and effectiveness as a chief executive officer in the auto industry are even correlated to pay any more. According to an infographic study published in 2013 by Car and Driver the highest paid CEO was Alan Mulally from Ford, bringing in $23,204,534, effectively 725 times the average pay of his employees.
